Suicide attack on the foreign base in Afghanistan

A team of Taliban suicide attacker on a US-led NATO reconstruction team in unstable southern of Afghanistan met Sunday, officials said.

The attack struck the provincial reconstruction team in Kalat, the capital of Zabul. First reports suggested that a few people were injured.

PRTS are typically joint military and civilian operations, the work on trying to build of the capacity of the Afghan Government in a province. There are approximately 28 of which a total of Afghanistan.

The Deputy Governor of Zabul, Mohammad Jan Rasoulyar, said that the incident is now over.

' I can confirm that a group of Taliban attackers, some of them suicide attacker who led attacks on the PRT as also police headquarters. It has a large explosion near the PRT Office ", said Rasoulyar."
