Elsewhere, leaders Dhaka Metro were in a strong position going into the fourth and final day of their game against Barisal. Holders Rajshahi were locked in an intriguing battle with Sylhet.
RANGPUR-SYLHET
Sylhet thrashed their opponents by an innings and 173 runs at the Fatullah Stadium.
Resuming on 362-4, Sylhet eventually declared their first innings on 423 for nine. Alok Kapali added five runs to his overnight score of 86.

Rangpur managed a paltry 138 in their first innings.
KHULNA-DHAKA
Even without Bangladesh star Abdur Razzak, who is grieving after the death of his mother on Monday, they were too strong for Dhaka as they eased to a 91-run victory in Jessore.
Set a 285-run target, Dhaka fell apart after Taposh Ghosh snapped up five wickets to send them crashing to 194 all out.
DHAKA METRO-BARISAL
Requiring a massive 515 runs to win, hosts Barisal were 70-2 by the close of play.
Earlier, resuming on 75-6 they were bowled out for 120.
Dhaka Metro, who amassed 450-8 in their first innings, then made 185 for five before declaring again.
CHITTAGONG-RAJSHAHI
